Chad Team Move

CHAD DUNN – CO-FOUNDER & EXERCISE SPECIALIST, CPT, CES, PES, NASM MOVE HUMAN PERFORMANCE FOUNDER

Chad Dunn has over 20 years of experience in the health, Modern fitness and sports performance fields, originally from Colorado. Chad came to Arizona for the sunshine and competitive BMX racing. Having competitive bones and a fearless mindset, nothing has stopped Chad from conquering obstacles in life. Chad passes along these traits while working with and educating his clients or athletes. After studying kinesiology and Spanish at Arizona State University, Chad began his career working as an exercise specialist at a well known physical therapy and sports performance clinic in Phoenix. Chad has worked with patients and athletes of all levels, coaching them all to move and never give up. Using his motto “Mind Over Virtually Everything” Chads training gives athletes the competitive advantage needed in sports by modern fitness, the will to battle back from a catastrophic injury, or just succeed in life. Chads passion for helping others took a new turn while working with Eddy King. Eddy sustained a Spinal Cord injury and has battled back allowing him to walk again. Everyone under Chads care succeeds, failure is not an option. It’s not about the workout it’s about the lifestyle!! Chads hobbies include any extreme sport, playing with his English bulldog, watching people succeed, and hanging out with his wife Jackie and their three kids.

KAINE VIEIRA – BACHELOR OF SCIENCE STUDYING EXERCISE & WELLNESS WITH A SPECIALIZATION IN FITNESS

Kaine graduated from Arizona State University. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Studying Exercise & Wellness with a specialization in fitness. Kaine did his internship at MOVE working in the environment he loves. He has been living here in Arizona for 4 years now after moving from Boise, Idaho to attend ASU. Being an older brother of two sisters, Kaine learned to lead by example and applies that skill when training others. As an athlete himself, he understands the necessary commitment & dedication that needs to be applied in life & training to succeed. Helping athletes has shaped his desire to make a career for himself in the fitness training field as well as sports performance field. Kaine enjoys being a part of each athlete’s journey to watch them grow & help them achieve their goals.

AUSTIN CARR– BACHELOR OF SCIENCE KINESIOLOGY, DOCTORATE OF PHYSICAL THERAPY UNIVERSITY OF JAMESTOWN

Austin is a staff physical therapist at MOVE Performance, he believes the key to optimal rehab is a multimodal approach using a combination of manual therapy, patient specific exercises and education. Having played competitive baseball throughout college, he has an in-depth knowledge of the needs and demands of high-level athletes. Austin graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and recently graduated from the University of Jamestown with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Austin has a passion for helping his patients realize their potential, reaching their goals and improving their function and firmly believes that therapy should always be patient-centered. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys golfing, mountain biking and spending quality time with his family.

BRANDON BLAIR, PT, DPT - A.T. STILL UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES

Brandon is a staff physical therapist at Move Performance whose focus is to restore movement and function through a patient-centered, holistic treatment approach. Brandon graduated from Oregon State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry, and he went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in 2021. With his education and a background as a certified personal trainer and collegiate athlete, Brandon looks to utilize his knowledge and experiences to provide patients with quality care in order to optimize their functional potential and help them reach their goals. When Brandon is not working, he is usually spending time at the gym, in the kitchen, on the golf course, watching sports, and hanging out with friends and family.

Jackie Dunn Team Move

JACKIE DUNN – CO-FOUNDER & OPERATIONS MANAGER AKA THE BOSS

Jackie is a Co-founder of MOVE and handles the day-to-day operations at Move (AKA the Boss). Jackie is the soul of Move. Her passion and compassion are contagious; with Jackie, it doesn’t matter if you are recovering from an injury or trying to reach specific physical goals; Jackie will be your biggest cheerleader and advocate. She will know who you are and what you need when you come in. To Jackie, you are not a number!

Dan Team Move

DAN - TRAINER

Dan graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Clinical Exercise Science. MOVE provides an environment focused around fitness and rehabilitation, fueling these lifelong passions of his. As a military veteran and athlete, Dan relishes the opportunity to work with a team while providing the best care he possibly can. His future goals include pursuing a career as a physical therapist in the hopes of working alongside athletes. Outside of MOVE, Dan spends much of his free-time traveling and furthering his love for rock climbing.

MAKENZIE- FRONT DESK

Makenzie is the first face you see when you come into Move Performance. Makenzie is passionate about helping patients with verifying their insurance and making sure that they are scheduled with the best therapist to fit their needs. When Makenzie is not working, she enjoys exploring nature, shopping, and hanging out with her two dogs and fiancé.

KOLBY ASHBY - MARKETING AND MEDIA

Kolby oversees Move's marketing and media development. Over the years he has documented many MOVE athletes during their recovery or training. Kolby enjoys spending time with his family, being active, and exploring the great state of Arizona.
